Welcome to Finke Yacht Club

About Finke YC
While the Finke Yacht Club occupies a premier location on the famous Finke River, it is our members that make the Club special — they are a diverse group of characters from some of the most interesting locations across Asia. This makes Finke YC the ideal home for Cruisers as it offers member-to-member introductions in many a far flung port.
From the Commodore
On behalf of the Flag Officers, Board of Governors and the entire membership of the Finke Yacht Club: Welcome. Never in my life would I have imagined being in the leadership of a yacht club – but now that I am here it is an honour and a privilege to serve as Commodore.
The club was built with the intention of supporting the sport of cruising and good seamanship. These aims have not only increased interest in sailing but have provided opportunities for members to interact regionally and nationally with like-minded Salts.
For experienced members of FYC it is our responsibility to engage new members in a supportive environment, particularly those that did not grow up with a tiller in their hand. For new members, welcome to the family and community that is FYC. We thank you for your interest, commitment and support throughout the year. And we invite all those interested to come aboard.

Cafe Rennison
Brekky, Lunch or a bit of Brunch
The best part of traveling to new places is checking out the local cuisine. In Australia, you can always get a meat pie or fish and chips at the nearest pub. But sometimes the occasion calls for a more memorable dining experience.
Cafe Rennison's handcrafted Modern Australian Cuisine, use of fresh locally grown ingredients and a location that is certainly 10/10 will be that memorable part of your visit.
Open daily except Tuesdays and 18 December
